DHAKA: An official of the national English daily newspaper `The Daily Sun` received bullet-wound as motorbike lifters opened fire on him in city’s Mohakhali area Early Monday.
Family sources said Rumel Ferdaous, an IT official of Daily Sun, went to the Airport to see off his elder brother early Monday.
On his way back, motorbike lifters opened three rounds of bullets on Rumel, leaving him critically injured.
Locals rescued him and rushed to Rabeya Memorial Hospital.
Later, he was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
