DSE ends flat decreasing turnover

DHAKA: Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) ended flat for the 3rd session on Tuesday however turnover value increased.

DGEN, the benchmark general index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) lost 55 points to close at 4301 points besides DSE index declined 54 points to close at 4210 points.

A total turnover value stood at Tk 543 crore compared to Tk 499 crore of previous session.

On Thursday, turnover value was Tk 552 crore but from beginning of this week index was in negative trend and following this turnover value came below Tk 500 crore.

On Tuesday turnover value recovered further.  

Of the traded issues, 48 advanced, 206 declined and 22 remained unchanged.

In the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) index lost 158 points to close at 13217 points amid decreasing turnover value which stood at Tk 64 crore.

A total of 197 issues were traded where 29 advanced, 155 declined and 13 remained unchanged.
