DHAKA: Opposition BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will leave Dhaka for Singapore Tuesday on a 9-day personal visit.
A source in chairperson’s office confirmed the matter to banglanews Monday.
She will be accompanied by her family members and personal staffs.
She is scheduled to return Dhaka on February 27.
On the other hand, she is set to hold a meeting the heads of 12 sub-committees for the 6th national council of the party on Monday night.
The meeting is scheduled to be held at her Gulshan party office at about 8pm, said source.
BNP is set to hold its 6th national council on March 19.
