DHAKA: After wrapping up a 3-day official visit, Indian President Pranab Mukherjee left Dhaka for India on Tuesday afternoon.
A special flight carrying the Indian President took off from Shahjalal International Airport at 6:45pm.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina saw the Indian President off at VVIP tarmac at the airport.
Pranab Mukherjee walked through a Static Guard and exchanged pleasantries with the Prime Minister and officials of the Bangladesh and India in the representation line.
Cabinet members, PM’s advisors, senior government officials, chiefs of the three services and officials of the High Commission of the both the countries were present.
The Prime Minister presented Pranab Mukherjee an album on his visit.
On March 3, Pranab Mukherjee arrived here on a three-day visit at invitation of Bangladesh government.
The government on Monday conferred ‘Bangladesh Muktijuddho Sanmanona’ on Indian President Pranab Mukherjee for his valuable contribution to the Bangladesh’s liberation.
