Section 144 imposed in Jessore

JESSORE: The district administration imposed section 144 for Wednesday at Doratana Bhoirab Chattar in the town on Tuesday as Chhatra League and Jamaat convened rally at the same venue same time.   

Deputy Commissioner of the district Mostafizur Rahman said, “We imposed the ban as Chhatra League and Jamaat convened rally in the area.”

Officer-in-Charge of Kotwali Model Thana Golam Rahman told banglanews that the local administration imposed the ban to avert further untoward situation.
