SYLHET: A schoolchild was killed in a road accident in Hajiganj area under Moglabazar Thana of the district on Wednesday noon.
The deceased was identified as Rozina Begum, 7, student of class-III.
Officer-in-Charge of Moglabazar Thana Mohammad Morsalin told banglanews that a microbus rammed the child in the area, leaving her injured critically.
She was rushed to Osmani Medical College Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
The people seized the microbus but the driver managed to flee scene, the OC added.
