MUNSHIGANJ: The ferry services on Mawa-Kawrakandi route have been suspended for six hour due to thick fog blanketed the waterway from early Tuesday.
Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) sources said the service was suspended around 3am due to poor visibility.
Besides, four ferries stayed anchored in the middle of Padma River.
The ferry services resumed at about 9:00am as visibility returned.
BIWTC Mawa ghat Super Nurul Amin confirmed the matter to banglanews.
