SYLHET: The Local administration imposed section 144 in Fenchuganj as Awami league and Jamaat convened separate programmes at the same venue at the same time.
Sources said local administration imposed section 144 to be enforced from 6am till 6pm on Wednesday apprehending disruption of law-and-order in the area.
Fenchuganj Police Station (OC) Shahidur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
