Joya’s solo art show at Bengal Art Lounge

DHAKA: Joya Shahrin Huq`s solo exhibition ‘All Dressed Up and Nowhere to Go’ is being held at Bengal Art Lounge in city’s Gulshan area

Professor Manzoorul Islam of Dhaka University inaugurated the show on Friday evening.

American Centre director Viraj M LeBailly spoke at the programme as special guest.

A total of 35 artworks are on display that will remain open from 12:00pm to 8:00pm till March 3.

Born in 1975, Shahrin had her bachelors from Dhaka University’s fine arts faculty and masters from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, India. At present, she is working as assistant professor at printmaking department in Dhaka University.
