BARISAL: A motorcyclist was killed in a road accident on Barisal-Shawrupkathi road in Tetultala area of the district on Wednesday noon.
The deceased was identified as Mamun Mia, 27, son of Shah Alam of the town in Echhakathi area.
Sub-Inspector of Metropolitan Biman Bandar Thana Abul Bashar told banglanews that, on information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body.
He said the accident might happen as a rashly driven vehicle rammed him.
The body was sent to Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital morgue.
