PIROJPUR: Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid categorically said education policy along with all the facilities for non-government teachers, including pay-scale, house rent, all are under processing and would be implemented gradually.
The education minister came up with the disclosure while addressing a reception programme organized by freedom fighters in Bhandaria bus-stand of the district.
Regarding the demand of non-government teachers, he said, “Our resources are limited, which makes us difficult to implement all of your demand. Therefore, everything will be implemented in phase.”
Education Secretary Dr Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury, Education Department Director General Nomanur Rashid and Chairman of Barisal Education Board Professor Dr Bimal Krishna Majumdar accompanied the education minister.
