FENI: A truck driver, who was injuries during pre-hartal violence, was died at Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) on Monday morning.
The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Dagonbhuiyan Thana Police said the truck driver sustained severe injuries as hartal supporters attacked him in Muktarbari area on Feni-Maizdi road around 3:30am.
Meanwhile, they also vandalized seven-eight vehicles.
He was rushed to Feni Sadar Hospital and later shifted to CMCH where he succumbed to his injuries around 9am.
Confirming the matter Dagonbhuiyan Thana police said, “We are trying to identify and arrest the culprits.”
