DHAKA: The ruling Awami League led 14-party alliance will hold a public rally in front of the south gate of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque on Bangabandhu Avenue in the city at 3:00pm
Awami League Presidium member and Deputy Leader of the House Syeda Sajeda Chowdhury MP will preside over the rally.
The public rally was also addressed by central and Dhaka City unit leaders of the alliance.
Sajeda Chowdhury, also central coordinator of the alliance, urged people from all walks of life to attend the rally for making it a grand success.
The rally is part of the alliance’s ongoing programmes to mobilize public support in favour of its campaign for expediting the war crimes trial.
