DHAKA: Bashundhara Group, country’s leading business conglomerate, on Monday urged its men to work together in reaching Bashundhara products to the doorsteps of the people.
Group Advisor (Public Relations) and Head of Human Resource and Administration Lt Col (retd) Khandaker Abdul Wahed came up with the urge while addressing the two-day sales representatives’ orientation ceremony of Bashundhara Tissue and Hygiene Production on the concluding day at Bashundhara Convention Center in city.
Abdul Wahed said, “People will know about Bashundhara products if we work honestly and products will reach to remote areas. Thus you all will be benefited and Bashundhara can work for the welfare of the people.”
Indicating the sales representatives, he said, “You can enjoy good packages if you all work honestly and sincerely to reach Bashundhara products to door to the people.”
Abdul Wahed further said, “Work honestly, you will never be prevented. Bashundhara products are now at people’s door steps following your relentless efforts.”
“You have to work with goodwill using the knowledge gained in last two days and Bashundhara is aimed at welfare of the people,” he said.
The programme was also attended, among others, by Head of Division of Bashundhara Paper and Hygiene Products Mujibur Rahman and In-Charge M Mizanur Rahman and Assistant General Manager of A-4 Paper and Exercise Book M Yusuf Ali Sarker.
Some 233 sales representatives were given certificates, ID cards and appointment letters after the programme.
On Sunday, Senior Advisor (Research and Development) of Bashundhara Group AR Rashidi inaugurated the two-day long programme.
Bashundhara Group (BG), the leading business conglomerate of the country, is now exporting tissue and various paper products to 16 countries after fulfilling local demand.
The Bashundhara Tissue has extended its market in different Asian and African countries including India, Sri Lanka, Arab Emirates, Mauritius and Tunisia.
In Bangladesh, the products are being used not only in urban areas but also in remote areas of the country as the purchasing power of the customers has increased.
