DHAKA: Bangladesh is set to host the conference of E-9, a forum of nine countries formed to achieve the goals of UNESCO’s Education For All (EFA) initiative, for the first time.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid was addressing a press conference at Bangladesh Bureau of Educational Information and Statistics (BANBEIS) on Friday (February 3).
The minister further said the conference will kick-off at Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden on Sunday (February 5).
E-9 is a forum of nine developing countries -- Bangladesh, Brazil, China, Egypt, India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Mexico, and Nigeria.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is expected to inaugurate the event.
