NATORE: An army corporal was killed in a road accident on Natore-Pabna highway at Kadamchilan area under Boraigram Upazila of the district on Sunday (December 11).

The victim was identified as army corporal Ziaul Haque, 38, working station was Bagura Cantonment.

Citing army officials, Banpara Highway Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Abdullah Al Mamun told Banglanews that the driver of the vehicle lost his control over the steering and fell into a roadside ditch in the area around 11:45am, leaving an army man dead.

Two other army men; Prashanti Majumdar, 22, and Daud Ali, 28; also injured in the accident those are taking treatment in Natore’s Qadirabad Cantonment Combined Military Hospital.
