TANGAIL: Three children died after drowning in three separate puddles at separate areas in Tangail district on Wednesday afternoon (May 24).

Officer-in-charge (OC) of Tangail’s Kalihati police station Mosharraf Hossain said that two of the children drowned in two separate puddles at Alenga area under Kalihati upazila, while a child drowned in a puddle at Basail upazila.

Locals recovered the bodies of the children and sent them to the Kalihati Upazila Health Complex. The on duty doctors of the hospital declared them dead.
