DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – are witnessing gain in share price indices in the opening hours on Wednesday (April 26), the fourth session of the trading week.

DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), gained over 20.97 points or 0.38 percent to stand at 5490.43 points at 12:34 pm.

Trade deals stood at 52,502 with the transaction over Tk 3270.15 million. Of the issues traded, 194 advanced, 83 declined and 32 remained unchanged.

LankaBangla Finance Ltd. topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 624.78 million having changed till then.

The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) was also witnessing positive trend, as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, acquired over 36.03 points to stand at 10309.05 points at 12:28 pm.

Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 114 gained, 47 declined and 19 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 205.98 million.
