DHAKA: Banking transaction can be made from 9:30am to 2:30pm during Ramadan, said Bangladesh Bank.   

From Sunday to Thursday, all banks are to start operation at 9:30 am and end at 4 pm, the central bank issued a notice on Sunday (May 5) ahead of Ramadan.

There will be a prayer break between 1:15pm to 1:30pm, the notice also said.

After the Ramadan, regular schedule will be maintained.
