Bangladesh envoy calls for more Japanese investment Bangladesh ambassador to Japan Rabab Fatima

DHAKA: Bangladesh ambassador to Japan Rabab Fatima called on the Japanese businessmen to invest more in Bangladesh.

She made the call at an information and technology fair titled "Japan IT Week" that started on Wednesday (May 8).

A total of 24 Bangladeshi companies took part in the fair.

The fair will continue till May 10.  

Sources from the Bangladesh embassy in Japan said that Rabab Fatima visited various stalls at the fair Wednesday morning.

He talked to the Bangladesh IT entrepreneurs on various matters as assured support from the embassy, if needed.  

In a seminar held on the possibilities of Bangladesh's IT sector, Rabab Fatima requested Japanese businessmen to invest more in Bangladesh.

Bangladesh High-Tech Park Authorities Managing Director and Secretary Hosne Ara Begum, former BASIS president Mahboob Zaman and the officials of Bangladesh-Japan IT Incorporation, among others, attended the seminar.
