CHATTOGRAM: Newly elected President of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) Rubana Huq said that problem lies in Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) sector of the country.

"But, discussion is underway with the government and the authorities concerned, vowing to solve the problems. (I) hope these problems will be solved soon," she said.

Rubana Huq was attending an iftar party hosted by BGMEA at Navy Convention Hall in the port city Saturday (May 11).

She urged the businessmen of Chattogram to stay attentive so that the port will function properly and so does the trade and commerce.  

Leaders of BGMEA board of directors and representatives of various industrial groups attended the iftar party chaired by BGMEA Vice President Abdus Salam.
