DHAKA: The country's twin bourses - Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – finished the session in positive on Monday (May 27), the second trading session of the week.

Trading at both DSE and CSE began on negative note in the morning and but closed with a marginal gain amid choppy trading ahead of Eid festival.

The market observed zig-zag movement throughout the day’s session as both the bargain hunters were active in the trading session.

The DSE benchmark index, DSEX went up by 0.21 points or 0.004 percent to reach 5,253.54 at the close of today’s trading.
