DHAKA: State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain said the Deputy Commissioners (DCs) have placed a proposal to establish a bank dedicated to the employees of public administration.

The government will consider the proposal if it brings welfare to people, he said.

The state minister made the disclosure after attending a session on public administration, on the fifth and last day of this year's DCs Conference Thursday (July 18).
  
Farhad Hossain further said if the government establishes the bank, former officials of public administration also can be added to it alongside the current 5,000 officials.
