Four companies of PRAN-RFL Group received ‘National Productivity and Quality Excellence Award-2018’ for enhancing productivity and improving product quality.

Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun handed over the awards through a program held at the Institution of Diploma Engineers auditorium in Dhaka on Sunday morning (July 28).

State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Majumder also attended the program.

The Industries Ministry awarded 28 organizations for the year 2018. Among the winners, Mymensingh Agro Ltd, a sister concern of PRAN Group won first prize in food sub-sector of large industry category while RFL’s Allplast Bangladesh Ltd got third prize in chemical sub-sector of large industry category.

PRAN’s Banga Bakers Ltd and Sun Basics Chemical Ltd achieved first and second prize respectively in small industry category.

Eleash Mridha, Managing Director of PRAN Group received the award from the minister on behalf of Mymensingh Agro while Animesh Saha, Chief Operating Officer of Banga Bakers, Ruhul F Talukder, General Manager of Sun Basic Chemicals Limited and Sayed Hossain Chowdhury, Chief Operating Officer of Allplast Bangladesh received the prizes on behalf of the organizations.

Md. Abdul Halim, Secretary of Industries Ministry and S.M. Ashrafuzzaman, Director of National Productivity Organization, were also present, among others, on the occasion.
