Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) predicted dry weather with a temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9am today (Jan 27).

According to the BMD bulletin, light to moderate fog may occur at places over the country during late night till morning. 

Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

Ridge of sub-continental high extends up to Bihar and adjoining area. A low pressure area has formed over Southeast Bay and adjoining area. Its associated trough extends up to North Bay.

Country's maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded by 31.2 degree Celsius at Jashore and minimum temperature today was recorded by 10.4 degree Celsius at Tetulia.

The sun sets at 5.41 pm today and rises at 6.42 am tomorrow in the capital.
