NARAYANGANJ: The charge-sheets of two separate cases on gruesome Narayanganj seven-murder will be submitted to district chief Judicial Magistrate on Wednesday afternoon.
District Additional Superintendent of police (DSB) Mohammad Jakaria said Narayanganj SP will brief the media around 6:30pm.
On April 27 in 2014, seven men, including Narayanganj City councilor Nazrul Islam and senior lawyer Chandan Kumar Sarkar, were abducted. Their bodies were found floating in river Shitalakhyya some days later.
Relatives of Nazrul Islam and Chandan Sarkar filed two separate cases over the incident.
Police arrested 32 people including 17 Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) members.
However, 17 witnesses including 12 RAB members gave their statements.
