Close shops before 8pm; don’t go out after 10pm

 

DHAKA: The government has decided to extend the restriction on public movement till August 31 to contain the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).

The restriction will be effective from Tuesday (August 4).

An office order signed by deputy secretary of cabinet division Mohammad Abdul Wadud Chowdhury was issued on Monday in this regard.  

According to the notice, people must not go outside from home from 10:00 pm to 5:00 am if there is no emergency. Besides, business people must close their shops and shopping malls by 8:00 pm every day.

In addition, public-private offices will remain open following health regulations, according to the government order.
