CHATTOGRAM: Another physician died of coronavirus infection while undergoing treatment at the Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) on Monday night (August 3).

Nazrul Islam Chowdhury alias Taslim, an associate professor of the Orthopedic Surgery Department of the CMCH, breathed his last at 10:30 pm while undergoing treatment at the ICU of the hospital.

Nazrul Islam was admitted to CMCH with Covid-19 like symptoms on August 2. Besides he was suffering from other physical complexities for long.

According to the Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA), as many as 12 physicians have so far died of Covid-19 and 300 infected with the virus in Chattogram.
