At least four people were killed as a fishing trawler capsized on the Bay of Bengal in Saint Martins island of Cox’s Bazar on early Saturday.

On information, a Coast Guard team rushed to the spot and managed to rescue 13 of the fishermen.

Coast Guard sources said 13 fishermen were rescued alive. Four were found dead and nine were missing.

The trawler sank 34.5 nautical miles away from Saint Martin’s lighthouse, the sources added.
