A man, age around 55, was killed after being hit by an unidentified vehicle in front of Dania University College in Jatrabari area of Dhaka of Monday.

The identity of the deceased could not be known yet.

Confirming the matter, KM Azizul Haque, sub-inspector of Jatrabari police station, said the accident took place on Dhaka-Chittagong highway around 11:00 am. 

The body was recovered and sent to Sir Salimullah Medical College Hospital morgue, said the SI.
