Global coronavirus death toll tops 3.33m, caseload over 160m

The overall global Covid-19 caseload has topped 160.34 million, while the deaths have surged to more than 3.33 million, according to data from the worldometer.

In its latest update on Wednesday (1:00pm Bangladesh Time), the data revealed that the current global caseload and death toll stood at 160,343,175 and 3,331,844 respectively.

Worldwide Covid-19 deaths are rising once again, especially in India. 

Besides, a total of 138,122,963 people recovered worldwide from the disease, according to data from the worldometer.

A total of 220 countries and territories and two international conveyances have been infected in the deadly disease.

In USA, 33,550,115 people have tested positive for the virus. Of them, 596,946 people have died and 26,558,138 people have recovered.

In Brazil, 15,285,048 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 425,711 patients have died and 13,847,191 recovered.

In Mexico, 2,368,393 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus. Of them, 219,323 died and 1,891,052 recovered from the disease.

In India, 23,340,938 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 254,225 people have died and 19,382,642 people have recovered.

In UK, 4,439,691 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of them, 127,629 patients have died and 4,253,367 people have recovered.

In Italy, 4,123,230 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 123,282 people have died and 3,283,915 people have recovered. 

In Russia, 4,896,842 people have tested positive for Covid-19. Of them, 113,967 have died and 4,509,915 have recovered.

In France, 5,800,170 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 106,935 patients have died and 4,951,745 patients have recovered.

In Germany, 3,544,315 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of them, 85,757 patients have died and 3,220,300 have recovered.

In Spain, 3,586,333 patients have been diagnosed with coronavirus. Of them, 79,100 have died and 3,283,915 patients have recovered. 

In Colombia, 3,031,726 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus. Of them, 78,771 people have died and 2,848,153 people have recovered.

In Iran, 2,691,352 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus. Of them, 75,568 patients have died and 2,144,197 patients have recovered. 

In Poland, 2,838,180 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of them, 70,336 patients have died and 2,580,245 people have recovered.

In Argentina, 3,191,097 people have tested positive for Covid-19. Of them, 68,311 patients have died and 2,854,364 people have recovered.

In Peru, 1,858,239 people have tested positive for Covid-19. Of them, 64,691 have died and 1,720,665 have recovered.

In South Africa, 1,599,272 people have tested positive for Covid-19. Of them, 54,896 have died and 1,519,258 have recovered.

In Bangladesh, 776,257 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 12,005 people died and 715,321 patients have recovered.

The World Health Organization declared the coronavirus crisis a pandemic on March 11.
