Fifteen Covid-19 related fatalities were reported at the Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) in the last 24 hours till Monday morning (Aug 2).

Of the deceased, six were from Rajshahi,five from Pabna, two from Naogaon, and one each from Kushtia and Natore districts, according to the hospital authorities, said RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani.  

Among the deaths, seven of the deceased were Covid-19 positive patients while other had virus symptoms, he said. They were aged between 31 and 65.

With this, 553 people died of Covid-19 at the corona unit of RMCH in the month of July.

Besides, 390 patients were admitted to the unit till this morning while 37 have been admitted in the last 24 hours.
