The country reported 246 fresh dengue cases in last 24 hours till Tuesday morning, said the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The hospitals in capital saw 211 patients out of 246 in last one day.
  
With new patients, some 1,031 patients are currently hospitalized with dengue infection. Of them, 836 patients are undergoing treatment in government and private hospitals in Dhaka while the number of patients outside of the capital is 195.

The number of dengue infected patients of public and private hospitals in the country from January 1 to September 21 is 16,222. 

Of them, 15,132 people returned home after recovery from dengue infection. 

Meanwhile, the number of fatalities from the mosquito-borne disease reached 59 this year.
