Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) recorded one death in its Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours till Sunday morning (Jan 16).

The deceased was a teenager and hailed from Pabna district, said RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani.  

Besides, eight patients were admitted to the Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours, taking the number of admitted patients to 31, including 11 positive for Covid-19, at present.

Meanwhile, 11 more patients were found Covid-19 positive after testing 145 samples in Rajshahi Medical College laboratory on Saturday.
