State-run Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) will start selling by trucks on Monday (16 May) to provide essential items to the low-income group.
According to a press release issued on Wednesday (May 11), people can purchase soybean oil at Tk110 per liter.
The TCB will sell essentials through 250-300 trucks in all metropolitan areas, districts, and upazilas across the country, the release said.
TCB will also sell sugar at Tk 55 per kg, lentil pulses at Tk75 per kg and gram at Tk50 per kg.
Soybean oil will be sold two liters per consumer, sugar at two kg, pulses at two kg and gram (Chola) from the TCB truck.
Except for Friday, TCB will sell essentials till May 30.
