A Dhaka court on Thursday postponed the indictment in a graft case against former director general of health services Md Abul Kalam Azad and five others in a graft case.
Judge Al Asad Md Asifuzzaman of Dhaka's Special Court-6 fixed June 6 for the indictment due the application of the lawyers of the accused.
However, the hearing of the charges was scheduled to take place on Thursday.
On September 20, 2021, the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) sued Abul Kalam Azad, along with Regent Hospital Chairman Mohammed Shahed for embezzling government funds.
