Ambassador of Switzerland to Bangladesh Nathalie Chuard on Wednesday (August 10) said that the Bangladesh government had not sought the information of any specific person regarding the money deposited in the Swiss bank.

The Ambassador was speaking at a discussion titled "DCAB Talk" organised by the Diplomatic Correspondents Association, Bangladesh (DCAB) at Jatiya Press Club.

DCAB President Rezaul Karim Lotus and its General Secretary AKM Moinuddin also spoke at the event.

In response to a question, the Swiss ambassador said that Switzerland continues operations to correct Swiss bank errors. 

"But I want to tell you that Switzerland is not a safe place for black money,” the Swiss envoy informed.
