Ex-MP Saleha Mosharraf passes away

FARIDPUR: Begum Saleha Mosharraf, former lawmaker from Faridpur-4 constituency, passed away at a hospital early Friday.

She was 66.

The Awami League leader breathed her last at 1:05am at Faridpur Diabetic Hospital.

She had been suffering from cancer for long.

Her husband Mosharraf Hossain MP, a Language Movement veteran, also former president of Faridpur district Awami League was a four-time elected lawmaker.

She left behind three sons, two daughters and hosts of well wishers to mourn her death.
