DHAKA: The Bishwa Ijtema, the second largest congregation of the world’s Muslims after Hajj organized by the Tablig Jamaat, for 2019 will begin on January 11.
The date for the next year Bishwa Ijtema was finalized on Saturday (January 13).
The 2019 Bishwa Ijtema will also be held in two phases on the bank of the Turag River in Tongi, on the outskirt of the capital Dhaka.
Maulana Gias Uddin of Tablig Jamaat told Banglanews that the first phase of the 54th Bishwa Ijtema will be held from January 11 to 13, while the second phase will be held from January 18 to 20.
