DHAKA: The government has appointed senior Secretary of Power Division Dr Ahmad Kaikaus as the principal secretary to the prime minister.

Public Administration Ministry issued a gazette notification in this regard on Sunday (December 29).

Kaikaus joined the Power Division, Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources as Secretary-in-Charge on 15 December, 2016 and on 23 February, 2017 he took over the office of Secretary.

Ahmad Kaikaus joined the Administration Cadre of Bangladesh Civil Service on 21 January 1986.
