GOPALGANJ: Former Member of Parliament of Gopalganj-1 constituency Kazi Abdur Rashid passed away at his residence in the capital on Thursday night.

He was 83.

The former MP breathed his last around 10:10pm at his Kalyanpur residence due to old age complexities.

Gopalganj-2 constituency MP also Presidium Member Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim, Gopalganj-1 MP Lieutenant Colonel (retd) Muhammad Faruk Khan expressed deep shock at the death of Kazi Abdur Rashid.
