DHAKA: Karachi Kings have selected Bangladeshi all-rounder Shakib al Hasan Pakistan Super league (PSL), which will run from February 4-23 in Dubai and Sharjah.

In the second round of the draft pick, held in Lahore on Monday (December 21), allows the five PSL teams to select players from a pool of 310, spread across five categories: Platinum, Diamond, Gold, Silver and Emerging.

Total of five teams, namely, Karachi Kings, Quetta Gladiators, Lahore Qalanders, Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi will take part in PSL. The tournament kicks off with Islamabad taking on Quetta in Dubai on February 4.

Of those, The remaining foreign players named in the Platinum category are Chris Gayle, Dwayne Bravo, Darren Sammy, Andre Russell, Dwayne Smith, Marlon Samules (all West Indies), Tillakaratne Dilshan, Lasith Malinga, Kumar Sangakkara, Mahela Jayawardene and Angelo Mathews (Sri Lanka) and Shakib Al Hasan (Bangladesh).
