Govt to deal with Myanmar in Feb

DHAKA: Bangladesh is going to sign Memorandum of Understating (MoU) with Myanmar to tackle illegal intrusion of Rohingyas through border line.

Various bilateral issues including trade and investment development with the country are also goal of the agreement.

Foreign ministry sources said the agreement might sign in the mid of February. Two countries have already gone so far in this matter.

On Sunday, an inter-ministerial meeting will be held to discuss conditions of the deal. Foreign ministry will lead the meeting.

Sources said in recent days, Rohingya intrusion in Bangladesh border have increased alarmingly as they have been tortured in native country by Buddhist diehard. It seems for Bangladesh is a dangerous condition as it is already over crowded by its large population.

In this condition, Bangladesh became more anxious about the matter and discussed with the Myanmar government which triggered an agreement in next month.

Besides, Bangladesh government emphasizes on air, waterways and road transport assistance, boosting help in trade and agriculture and many sectors with neighboring Myanmar.
