DHAKA:  Investors witnessed minor fall in benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Tuesday.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, shed over 10 points only to stand at 4,270 at the close on the third trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 138,395 with volume of transactions at Tk 5,937 million.

Of the issues traded, 150 advanced, 118 declined and 21 remained unchanged.

GENNEXT topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 261 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were PTL, CVOPRL, LANKABAFIN, DELTALIFE, GOLDENSON, ENVOYTEX, AAMRATECH, KEYACOSMET and ARGONDENIM.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8,402 by dropping over two points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 104 gained, 106 declined and 13 remained unchanged.
