The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has increased the price of a 12kg liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinder by Tk 18 to TK 1,381 for the month of November.

In October, the price was increased by Tk 79 to TK 1,363. 

BERC authority announced the new price at a press conference organized at the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission office today (November 2).

According to the announcement, the new price will be effective from 6:00 pm today.

At the retail point of private LPG, the price has been adjusted to Tk 115.9 per kg including VAT for the month of November, said BERC authority.

Earlier in July, BERC lowered the price of 12-kilogram cylinders of LPG by Tk 75.24.
