The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has increased the price of a 12kg liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinder by Tk 117.02 to TK 1,404 for the month of December.

In November, the price was increased by Tk 115.09 to TK 1,381. 

BERC authority announced the new price at a press conference organized at the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission office today (December 3).

According to the announcement, the new price will be effective from 6:00 pm today.

At the retail point of private LPG, the price has been adjusted to Tk 117.02 per kg including VAT for the month of December, said BERC authority.

Earlier in July, BERC lowered the price of 12-kilogram cylinders of LPG by Tk 75.24.
