DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway showing gain in share-price indices on Sunday.

The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) general index rose over 54 points to stand at 4574 at 11:40 am on the first trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 43,926 with transaction at Tk 2122 million.

Of the issues traded, 189 advanced, 63 declined and 18 remained unchanged.

PABMAOIL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 134 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8,989 by gaining over 101 points at 11:41am.

Out of the issues traded, 104 gained, 58 declined and 14 remained unchanged.
