Turkish Trade Minister Prof Dr Omer Bolat met with Bangladesh's Information and Broadcasting Adviser Md Mahfuj Alam on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum 2025.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 'Antalya Diplomacy Forum, 2025' in Turkiye on Friday.

The two discussed enhancing bilateral trade and economic cooperation. 

Mahfuj Alam invited Turkish investors to invest in Bangladesh's economic zones, while Dr Bolat highlighted the historical friendship between the nations and expressed interest in boosting economic ties.

Dr Bolat also proposed holding a meeting of the Turkiye-Bangladesh Joint Economic Commission in Dhaka later this year.
