Gold price cut by Tk5,342 after record high

The price of 22-carat gold dropped by Tk5,342 per bhori on Wednesday, just a day after reaching a historic high of Tk1,72,546.

The Bangladesh Jeweller’s Association (BAJUS) made the announcement in a press release, stating that the new rate would come into effectfrom this evening.
