DHAKA: Country's stock market marked fall again in its price indices on Thursday.

The broad index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, shed over four points only to stand at 4,396 at the close on the last trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 89949 with volume of transactions at Tk 4193 million.

Of the issues traded, 127 advanced, 133 declined and 37 remained unchanged.

LAFSURCEML topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 290 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were BSRMSTEEL,GP, MJLBD, HEIDELBCEM, MPETROLEUM, GENNEXT, EHL, SQURPHARMA and WATACHEM.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8334 by dropping over 29 points.

Out of the issues traded, 84 gained, 103 declined and 26 remained unchanged.
